Abstract

Environmental hygiene is a pivotal determinant of infectious disease dynamics in rapidly urbanizing areas. This study evaluates how hygiene practices influence disease prevention in Jalingo Metropolis, Taraba State, Nigeria. Employing a mixed-methods design, structured questionnaires were administered to 331 residents, conducted semi-structured interviews with key stakeholders, and performed direct environmental observations.
