Voters Behaviour and Voting Patterns in the 2023 General Elections in Nigeria

Abstract

This paper critically examines voting patterns and voter behaviour in Nigeria's 2023 general elections through a qualitative analysis grounded in secondary data sources. Drawing on the rational choice theory, the study explores how individual voters made electoral decisions based on calculated self-interest, perceived benefits, and available political alternatives.
