The Role of Military Intelligence in Enhancing Security Apparatus and Innovation of Military Hardware in Nigeria

Abstract

The increasing complexity of security threats in Nigeria, ranging from terrorism and insurgency to cyber warfare, transnational organized crime, separatist movements, and internal armed conflicts, has highlighted the critical importance of military intelligence in national defence strategies. This paper examines the role of military intelligence in enhancing Nigeria's security apparatus and promoting the innovation of indigenous military hardware.
