Measuring the comparative performance of Nigeria police using Data Envelopment Analysis

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to assess the performance of Nigerian police commands and to compare their achievements for the year 2010. This was achieved using data envelopment analysis methodology and mixture model. The results shows ranking of these commands from the most efficient performer to the least inefficient performer. The result peers inefficient performer with efficient performers. Peers are efficient commands with performance score 100 percent and all slack zero.
