This article explores vocabulary and Arab proverbs in Hausa and Fulani languages, using a descriptive-qualitative approach. The data were extracted manually from the poetry of the two languages derived from the Arabic language. The findings highlight that nearly a quarter of these languages are borrowed from Arabic, leading to the use of Arabic words in religious and business interactions. In addition, the Arabic language was used more than local languages, ensuring a strong connection between sellers and buyers. Furthermore, Arabic words in African languages like Hausa and Fulani contributed to Arabic literature development and cultural dissemination in Nigeria.
